Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a senior pre-sales engineer to support BAS solutions across North America. You will lead pre-sales design, cost development and value engineering for building automation projects while coordinating with sales and subcontractors.

This remote role can be located anywhere in the US, with a focus on the South Atlantic markets. You’ll oversee pre-bid reviews, cost data and ensure proposals are technically sound and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years plus controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems (BAS/BMS).
• Demonstrated ability to support pre-sales activities and cost development.
• Ability to work on US restricted projects.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales engineering and cost estimation for BAS projects.
• Liaise with subcontractors and vendors; QA/QC of work.
• Coordinate pre-bid and pre-book estimate reviews.
• Support sales with technical value propositions and solution presentations.
