Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a defined technical practice, overseeing personnel, tools, and vendor relationships. You will drive offerings, align with Sales and Marketing, and ensure delivery excellence across multi‑project portfolios.

The role requires 15+ years of IT consulting leadership, strong executive communication, and the ability to manage cross‑functional teams with a customer‑first mindset. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 15+ years of project management leadership experience in IT/consulting environments.
• Practice-centric experience in areas like Application Management, Data Management, QA or App Development.
• PMP or Lean/Six Sigma certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the practice's personnel, tools, and vendor relationships.
• Forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization for the practice.
• Develop and refine offerings with Sales and Marketing to maximize market impact.
• Grow long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
• Lead executive communications and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage cross‑functional teams across multiple projects to ensure delivery success.
• Monitor project health and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
