Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to serve as the innovation partner for the Litigation Practice Specialty Centers. The role focuses on improving legal service delivery through knowledge management, workflow optimization, and AI adoption.

You will work closely with practice leaders, attorneys, and business teams to translate needs into practical, scalable solutions that enhance client value.

Qualifications

• J.D. and a 4-year degree required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as practicing attorney or in knowledge management, innovation, or legal operations.
• Proven experience with legal technology, generative AI, knowledge management principles, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Practice Innovation liaison for the Litigation PSC.
• Identify opportunities to improve legal service delivery, knowledge sharing, productivity, and client value.
• Develop, prototype, test, and govern knowledge assets and AI-enabled workflows.
• Evaluate and pilot legal technology and AI tools with recommendations on adoption.
• Lead innovation projects from concept through implementation.
