Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Practice Director for Government Solutions to align product offerings with federal and state market needs. You will map agency missions, drive policy-aligned strategies, and advise executive teams to accelerate revenue growth.

In this role, you will partner across sales, product, and pricing to stay ahead of regulatory shifts and procurement drivers, while leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with state and federal government agencies around SNAP, Medicaid, or other means-tested programs.
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for assigned market segment(s) for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain market segment profiles through research to drive decision-making.
• Develop go-to-market plans and serve as a content resource.
• Monitor needs, trends, compliance and other influencers; recommend corrective action.
• Collaborate with sales, government relations, product management, marketing, Finance, and D&A to stay aware of capabilities and regulatory shifts.
• Partner with Account Executives on high-value public sector deals to craft compelling value propositions.
• Advise executives during discovery, pitch, and strategy meetings with government stakeholders.
• Identify regulatory, policy, or budget catalysts to accelerate procurement.
• Translate legislative changes into actionable sales opportunities.
• Guide positioning against public sector competitors.
