Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Practice Director for Government Solutions to align product and service offerings with federal, state, and industry needs. You will serve as SME, shape market plans, and influence strategic deals across public sector stakeholders.

Role focuses on macro policy alignment, agency mission mapping, executive positioning, and deal strategy. Expect frequent travel and leadership across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with state and federal government agencies specifically around SNAP, Medicaid, or other means‑tested social service programs.
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

• Serves as the SME for assigned market segment(s) for internal and external audiences.
• Maintains accurate market segment profiles to drive decision-making; conducts research as needed.
• Supports development of go-to-market plans for assigned markets segment(s).
• Monitors market needs, trends, compliance and influencers; recommends actions.
• Collaborates with sales, government relations, product management, marketing, Finance, and D&A to understand capabilities and regulatory shifts.
• Partners with Account Executives on high‑value public sector deals and craft compelling value propositions.
• Acts as peer executive advisor during discovery, pitch, and strategy meetings with government stakeholders.
• Identifies regulatory, policy, or budget catalysts to accelerate procurement and deal velocity.
• Translates government legislative changes and funding initiatives into sales opportunities.
• Guides positioning against public sector competitors and incumbent solutions.
