Eaton’s Power Systems Controls (PSC) group is seeking a Power Systems Controls Application Engineer. This role is remote for U.S.

West Region candidates and focuses on delivering automation solutions for switchgear in collaboration with sales and field services teams. You will develop technical and commercial proposals for transfer schemes, generator paralleling, load shed, and MicroGrid applications (including BESS and PV).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering OR 7+ years of hands-on field service, project management, or proposal generation experience related to electrical power distribution systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical industry application engineering, proposal development, and project engineering for power system applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the U.S. West Region.
• Must reside within the U.S. West Region or be able to work remotely for that area.

Responsibilities

• Quote PSC opportunities across the U.S. West Region by reviewing specifications and developing technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals valued from $50,000 to $2 million.
• Provide regular reporting and presentations on negotiations, market conditions, and trends.
• Develop and maintain pricing for standard applications and integrate into PSC quotation tools.
