Eaton’s Electrical Services & Systems division is seeking a Power Systems Controls Application Engineer. This position is fully remote for candidates residing within the U.S.

West Region, including Oregon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. You will develop technical and commercial solutions for automation in switchgear and MicroGrid applications, with salary range $97,000 - $137,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or 7 years related experience in power distribution systems.
• 3+ years in electrical industry application engineering, proposal development, and project engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily in the U.S. West Region.
• Must reside within the U.S. West Region and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Quote PSC opportunities across the U.S. West Region by reviewing specs and bid documents.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals from $50k to $2M.
• Provide reporting on negotiation activities, market conditions and trends.
• Develop pricing for standard applications and integrate into quotation tools.
• Support sales-to-execution with order entry and technical support.
• Pursue professional development in Microgrids, BESS, PV and generator paralleling.
• Work outside standard hours to meet bid deadlines.
