Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Services & Systems division seeks a Power Systems Controls Application Engineer. This role is fully remote for candidates residing within the U.S.

West Region, including Colorado. You will develop technical and commercial proposals for automatic transfer schemes, generator paralleling controls, load shedding, MicroGrid applications (BESS and PV), and support PSC sales with pricing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with extensive field/service experience.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical industry application engineering, proposal development, and project engineering.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, mainly in the U.S. West Region.
• Must reside within Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Quote PSC opportunities across the U.S. West by reviewing specs and bid documents and developing proposals.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals from about $50,000 to $2 million.
• Provide regular reports on negotiation activities, market conditions and trends for strategic decisions.
