Job summary

Eaton's Power Systems Controls (PSC) group provides automation solutions for commercial, industrial, and utility power systems. This role focuses on developing technical and commercial proposals for automatic transfer schemes, generator paralleling controls, load shed, and MicroGrid applications.

You will work with sales and field services teams nationwide in a remote-capable role, travel up to 25%, and balance multiple priorities to deliver reliable, cost-effective energy solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical industry application engineering and proposal development.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the U.S. West Region.
• Currently residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Quote PSC opportunities across the U.S. West region by reviewing specs and bid documents.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals ranging from $50k to $2M.
• Provide regular reporting on negotiations, market conditions and trends.
• Maintain pricing in PSC quotation tools and ensure proper documentation.
• Support order entry, project handoff, and tech support to influence specs.
• Pursue development in Microgrids, BESS, PV, and related technologies.
