Job summary

Axon seeks a Dedrone Professional Service Manager to ensure successful post-sales deployments of Dedrone’s security solutions. You will lead planning, hardware logistics, and on-site support while delivering tailored training to diverse customer teams.

You will coordinate with Axon Air Professional Services and third-party vendors, guiding policy development and integration with Axon ecosystems. A strong customer-focus and ability to travel domestically are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Deployment)
• Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex environments
• Strong understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, RADAR detection, and/or UAS/DFR programs
• Implementation of counter UAS programs
• Deep familiarity with IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE, Linux CLI, and basic system administration
• Confident training presence; able to present technical workflows clearly to executives, end users, and technical teams alike
• Experience working with public safety agencies, law enforcement, or security operations
• Strong project and stakeholder management; ability to own a deployment from kickoff to success
• Willingness to travel heavily and adapt to dynamic customer needs in the field
• FAA Part 107 certification preferred or obtained within first 3 months
• Comfortable climbing, working on elevated positions, and operating hand tools
• Hardware installation and maintenance experience of security and/or communications equipment

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments, acting as primary post-sale contact including pre-deployment planning and go-live enablement
• Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, command staff, and IT teams
• Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows integrating Dedrone systems with Axon ecosystem and UAS/DFR programs
• Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors, ensuring accountability and quality
• Conduct site assessments to inform hardware placement and operational design
• Build, iterate, and maintain deployment documentation, SOPs, training plans, and handoffs
• Provide post-deployment monitoring and escalation, aligning stakeholders on success metrics and resolutions
• Capture and relay customer feature requests, bug reports, or process gaps to Product and Engineering teams
