Axon is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join our pre-sales team. You will master Dedrone technology and engage with IT leaders, CIOs, and partners to shape solution wins. This role requires travel up to 50% and strong communication across technical and business audiences.

You will craft POC strategies, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and help customers evaluate security tech and drone mitigation offerings. Join a mission-driven team focused on safety and innovation at Axon.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or CS, or 5+ years relevant experience.
• 3-5 years customer facing pre-sales or consulting background.
• Experience selling SaaS based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve mastery of all Dedrone technology
• Lead business and technical presentations effectively
• Discuss with CIOs and channel partners at senior levels
• Set and manage expectations with customers and team members
• Provide 1st-level technical pre-sales support
• Drive removal of sales obstacles through creativity
• Develop relationships with key partners for growth
• Prepare responses to RFPs / RFIs
• Position the technology against competitors
• Represent products and Axon at events
• Coordinate POC/Pilot logistics and scope
• Develop technical documentation for customers
• Capture requested features and feedback to internal teams
• Develop Statements of Work for professional services
• Perform other duties as assigned
