Job summary

Shift4 is seeking a Solution Specialist to drive new business remotely from NY. You will set appointments with merchants to present POS and Shift4 services, prospect by phone and in person, and upsell add-ons while delivering excellent service.

Ideal candidates have outside sales experience with a hunter mentality, CRM proficiency, and a proven ability to meet quotas in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on acquiring new logos in your territory and maintaining strong merchant

Qualifications

• Must have outside sales experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to meet sales quotas in a fast-paced cycle.
• Entrepreneurial hunter mentality with strong prospecting.
• Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients.
• CRM proficiency and effective use of sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present POS and Shift4 services.
• Prospect over the phone and through networking, building referral partnerships.
• Assist existing clients with add-on services including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Build relationships with merchants by listening to their needs and resolving any outstanding needs.
• Explain the value of Shift4 products through your laptop or Point of Sale device.
• Listen, identify, and qualify sales opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
• Develop new accounts and target areas for growth or market value.
• Exhibit professionalism and apply company policies to grow market share.
• Responsible for signing new logos in your assigned territory.
• Develops knowledge of current products and services as well as changes in payments industry.
• Maintaining regular communication with your direct manager.
• Attend weekly meetings to review your Pipeline and forecast new opportunities.
