Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. This role is phone-based in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients, doctors and facilities nationwide from a remote/office setting.

You will enter prescription data, obtain authorizations and transfers, perform billing and eligibility checks, and collaborate with pharmacists to onboard new patients while upholding strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB or NHA certification and current state registration.
• Must be 18+ years old and prior pharmacy setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties (prior authorizations, billing, eligibility).
• On-board new patients and maintain confidential records.
• Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and providers.
• Support nationwide patient base in a remote/office setting.
