AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our Patient Care Center of Excellence. This role involves phone-based interactions with patients, doctors and facilities, data entry, and coordination across pharmacy systems to support patient care.

The position is remote or office-based within a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on exceptional patient experience and accurate prescription processing. Full-time hours and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; PTCB or NHA certification; maintain a current pharmacy technician certificate.
• Prior experience in an office-based or remote setting preferred.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills for handling prescription information.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of prescription data quickly and accurately.
• Receive medication authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail.
