Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. The role focuses on phone-based interactions with patients, doctors and facilities in a remote environment, delivering high-quality service and accurate data handling.

Full-time, with comprehensive benefits, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance. The technician will support various stages of patient care, manage medication profiles, and collaborate with pharmacists to onboard new patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based customer service to patients, doctors and facilities.
• Enter a high volume of data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive medication authorizations, clarifications or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Work through case queues to support patient care issues.
• Coordinate with clinicians to onboard new patients.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality.
• Retrieve prescription information and verify with doctors.
