Oak Street Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to liaise between patients, providers, and pharmacists, delivering exceptional service with phone etiquette and empathy in a remote setting.

Gerne candidates will maintain licensure, complete Continuing Education, and meet departmental metrics while working in a private home office environment (remote), with 40 hours weekly and a base pay range of $17.00–$31.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Field inbound calls for refill requests and process renewal requests.
• Contact patients and assist with obtaining refills from retail, independent, or mail-order pharmacies.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients when needed.
• Handle 40–50 inbound and 60–80 outbound calls per day.
• Coordinate with center care teams to remove barriers to refills.
• Use EMR to send requests/updates to care teams.
• Document information in electronic systems.

Formation

Pharmacy Technician License (state of residence)

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

High school diploma or equivalent

Bilingual Spanish (preferred)

MS Office and Google Suite proficiency (preferred)
