Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for a remote role. You will act as a liaison between patients, providers and pharmacists, handle refills, answer calls, and document updates in the electronic medical record while protecting patient information in a private home office.

You must have retail pharmacy experience, a valid Pharmacy Technician license in your state, CPhT certification, and a high school diploma. US work authorization is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US work authorization; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refills and investigate status; fulfill renewals.
• Contact patients to obtain refills from their pharmacy.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
• Meet or exceed departmental metrics and protect patient information.
• Maintain licensure and complete Continuing Education requirements.
