Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists in a fully remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite preferred.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for refills and renewals.
• Contact patients to obtain refills from retail, independent, or mail-order pharmacies.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
• Manage 40–50 inbound calls and 60–80 outbound calls per day.
• Coordinate with care teams to remove refill barriers.
• Use EMR to send requests and updates to care teams.
• Document patient requests clearly in applicable systems.
• Monitor CareReq queue to finish requisitions.
