Job summary

ExactCare Pharmacy is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician to join our remote Patient Engagement Center. You will handle high-volume calls from patients, providers and facilities, update medication profiles, and support patient care with pharmacy software systems.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, confidentiality, and collaboration with pharmacists to resolve questions and obtain authorizations. Remote, full-time position with Nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma /GED required.
• Certified with PTCB or NHA and maintain current certificate.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be 18+ years of age; prior pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound calls from patients and resolve questions.
• Place outbound calls to create or update medication profiles.
• Liaise with clinical pharmacists and medical professionals for patient care.
• Perform claim adjudication and audits: prior authorizations, billing, eligibility.
• Collect on patient balances when due and maintain confidentiality.
• Enter prescription data accurately and retrieve information from doctor calls.
