Job summary

Advocate Health, a national healthcare system, seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to bridge clinicians and IT. The role supports medication safety, builds informatics solutions, and contributes to data analytics for performance improvement.

The position requires a PharmD, EPIC Willow certification within 6 months, and clinical informatics experience with remote work eligibility. A PGY1/PGY2 residency in informatics is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
EPIC certification within 6 months required for department.
PGY1/PGY2 residency preferred in pharmacy informatics.

Responsibilities

Develop informatics plans, data analyses, and systems to advance evidence-based practice and medication safety.
Design, evaluate, and implement new EHR builds to support clinical practice and improve patient care quality and safety.
Consult with providers, leadership, physicians, and clinicians to evaluate information systems and connect medication workflows to technology.
Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements and assist in creating data analytics for performance reviews.
Consult with external agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
