Job summary

Advocate Health, a leading healthcare provider in the United States, seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to support the medication electronic health record and act as a liaison between clinicians and informatics teams.

The role leverages pharmacist clinical skills and informatics to improve medication safety and optimize workflows, while working remotely during standard first-shift business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• EPIC Willow certification within 6 months of hire.
• PGY1 and PGY2 residencies preferred in pharmacy informatics.
• Strong informatics and analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice.
• Design, evaluate, and implement EHR builds to support clinical practice.
• Consult with providers and clinicians to evaluate information systems.
• Provide training and act as liaison between clinicians and IT.
• Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
