Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for our Pharmaceutical Ingredients team. This remote role supports a home-based US territory, focusing on value-based relationships, consultative selling, and account growth.

You will nurture a broad network, coordinate pricing and quotes, and collaborate with local branches to ensure stock and delivery. Travel within the territory is required to maximize opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in Pharmaceuticals Ingredients or similar chemical industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; technical science background preferred.
• Ability to nurture an extensive professional network and close complex deals.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturers, distributors, and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term value-based relationships with accounts at all organizational levels.
• Grow territory by prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
• Focus on retention and customer satisfaction; provide technical support and consultative services.
• Manage pricing, quotes, and service levels; coordinate with local branches.
• Maintain and update sales pipeline and coordinate inventory with internal teams.
• Travel within assigned territory to engage customers and close deals.
