Job summary

Firefighter Insurance Services is seeking a Manager, Personal Lines (Service) to lead the Personal Lines team, oversee service pipelines, and drive member satisfaction. The role emphasizes capacity planning, coaching, and performance reporting to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include developing the Personal Lines service plan, guiding underwriters and account managers, and aligning workflows with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of Personal Lines leadership or 10 years as AE/AM.
• Experience with comparative raters (PL Rater, EZLynx, TurboRater).
• AMS360 or other agency management/CRM system experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the Personal Lines service plan with goals, forecasts, capacity, and reporting.
• Oversee the Personal Lines service pipeline, work intake, assignments, SLAs, and workflow constraints.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and support Personal Lines staff including AEs, AMs, and processors.
• Develop and track individual performance plans and development goals for team members.
• Serve as primary field underwriting, carrier placement, workflow, and escalation resource for Personal Lines.
• Own retention and member experience processes while promoting collaboration.
