Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner for a remote USA role. You will assist with the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures as part of the People Strategy and Operations function.

Key duties include onboarding development, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management, along with employee relations guidance and training. Extensive travel (up to 40% monthly) to sites is required; proximity to a major airport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Ability to analyze information to exercise sound judgment
• Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset
• Sophisticated math skills for financial calculations

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding development, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives
• Provide employee relations guidance and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and assist investigations and grievances
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit
• Conduct training on topics including performance management and diversity
• Apply knowledge of standard HR principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to build consensus
• Impact customer, operational, and service activities within teams
• Work within broad guidelines and explain difficult information
• Travel to sites up to 40% monthly with driving/overnight trips
• Warehouse-fulfillment centers: up to 50% walking in large facilities
• Prefer to live near a major airport due to weekly travel
