Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner to support rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across the United States. In this remote role, you’ll work within the People Strategy and Operations function to design, execute, and monitor programs that improve workforce effectiveness.

You’ll assist with onboarding, career ladders, performance management, and employee relations while partnering with managers to manage risk and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant HR experience.
• Ability to analyze multiple sources and exercise sound judgment.
• Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Strong MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with PeopleSoft.
• Excellent organizational and numeric calculation skills.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance and assist with disciplinary actions.
• Work with managers to identify employment risks and assist investigations.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation.
• Conduct trainings on performance management and diversity.
• Explain complex information clearly.
• Travel to sites up to 40% monthly; duties may involve warehouse facilities.
• Live near a major airport to facilitate weekly travel.
