Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a People Business Partner for Remote USA. You will help roll out HR initiatives, policies, and procedures within the People Strategy and Operations function. Travel up to 40% monthly and be near a major airport for weekly travel.

You will develop onboarding, career ladders, succession planning and performance management, and provide employee relations guidance. Strong MS Office, PeopleSoft and SmartSheet skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary support.
• Collaborate with managers to identify employment risks and support investigations.
• Manage HR functions for a business unit, including employment, labor relations, and compensation.
• Conduct training on topics such as performance management and diversity.
• Apply knowledge of standard HR procedures to complex assignments.
• Coach colleagues and share knowledge across job disciplines.
• Lead by example and support CBRE RISE values to reach consensus.
• Impact customer, operational, project or service activities within teams.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
