Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to drive the Payroll Tax Operations team. You will own complex escalations and govern SOPs while coaching staff to build capability and reduce dependencies. This role demands senior technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor colleagues, review tax processes, and ensure compliance across multi-state tax regimes. Flexible hours with potential overtime align with business needs.

Formación

• 4+ years payroll tax experience with complex defect resolution.
• Lead/senior SME experience with coaching and mentoring.
• Expert knowledge of US payroll tax regulations across jurisdictions.
• Advanced writing skills for SOPs and technical documents.
• Strong ownership of SLAs and proactive workflow improvements.
• Validation-first mindset with data-driven problem solving.
• 5+ years handling highly sensitive escalations with minimal guidance.
• 4+ years in contact center or back-office operations.
• Comfort with using AI tools to improve team workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary, real-time technical expert for TP1-TP3 staff.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions to close skill gaps.
• Lead or back-up Daily Stand-Ups, group QA, and huddles.
• Oversee WIP, backlog aging, and staffing recommendations.
• Resolve severe State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Approve complex amended Federal/State returns with audit trails.
• Identify trends and Known Issues; share data-driven recommendations.
• Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and ensure compliance.
