Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and SME for Payroll Tax Operations. You will serve as the primary technical expert for TP1-TP3, own SOPs/KBs, and coach team members to resolve complex tax defects and multi-state filings.

You will guide escalation handling with minimal supervision, oversee WIP and aging metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement across workflows using AI tools. Flexible, remote, 20–40 hours per week with overtime eligibility.

Formación

• 4+ years in payroll tax with complex defect resolution.
• Experience as a lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching/j mentoring.
• Expert knowledge of US tax regulations and multi-state filings.
• Advanced writing for SOPs and technical documents for a tax processor audience.
• Ownership of SLAs and proactive resolution of red flags.
• Experience handling high-sensitivity escalations independently.
• Experience in contact center or back-office operations.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, and TP3 staff.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions to close skill gaps.
• Lead/participate in team huddles and stand-ups.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, and aging reports; suggest staffing adjustments.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices across state/federal levels.
• Approve complex Form 941-X, W-2c across states with audit trails.
• Identify trends and risks; present data-driven recommendations.
• Represent the team in cross-functional meetings with a governance mindset.
