Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Lead Tax Processor to drive Payroll Tax Operations and act as a subject matter expert for complex tax issues. You will own and resolve the most challenging escalations and govern SOPs while coaching the team to build capacity.

You will serve as the primary go-to resource for TP1, TP2, and TP3 staff, manage WIP and aging reports, and ensure audit trails across federal and state returns, emphasizing compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience in complex tax resolution.
• Experience as lead/SME with coaching junior staff.
• Expert knowledge of US payroll tax regulations across jurisdictions.
• Strong writing skills for SOPs and technical docs.
• Ownership of SLAs and proactive issue resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary, real-time tech expert for TP1-TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and KB articles.
• Coaching sessions at least quarterly to close skill gaps.
• Lead or support team huddles and daily stand-ups when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, and aging reports; recommend staffing changes.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices across state and federal levels.
• Approve complex amended returns with audit trails.
• Identify trends and risks; communicate findings with data-driven responses.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings with a compliance focus.
