Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert (Level X5) to steer critical initiatives and serve as the primary go-to resource for the team. You will own complex escalations, govern SOP approvals, and coach staff to build workforce capacity.

You will regularly handle high-stakes tax notices, approve amended Federal and State returns, and drive process improvements across payroll tax operations. This is a remote, nationwide role with flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading complex payroll tax resolutions and escalations.
• Proven ability to author and approve SOPs and KB articles.
• Strong coaching and mentoring of junior staff.

• Serve as primary real-time technical expert for TP1, TP2, TP3 staff.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct formal coaching sessions quarterly to close skill gaps.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and stand-up facilitation when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog reduction, and aging reports; advise staffing.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices across multiple jurisdictions.
• Approve complex amended Federal and State returns with audit trails.
• Identify risk trends and communicate with stakeholders with data.
