Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Accountant to manage the timely processing of payroll across multi‑state environments and support AP as needed. You will use Ceridian/Dayforce to process bi‑weekly payroll for exempt and non‑exempt staff, ensuring hours, deferrals, and tax rules are correct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required.
• 2–3 years of payroll processing experience with multi-state exposure.
• Strong payroll tax compliance, wage garnishments, and reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Ceridian/Dayforce and Excel required.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll bi-weekly for exempt and non-exempt staff using Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure hours and approvals are accurate.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and loan data in payroll system.
• Calculate garnishments and tax levies; ensure year-end W‑2 and 401k census accuracy.
• Support accounts payable and perform payroll-related audits and analytics.
