Job summary

WSB is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support daily payroll operations remotely. You will assist with new hire setup, timesheet processing, and payroll data maintenance to ensure accurate and timely payroll for staff.

This entry-level role collaborates with the Payroll and HR teams to standardize processes, audit records, and respond to requests while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years payroll, accounting, or administrative experience.
• Experience with Deltek preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Set up new hire records in Deltek and send new hire setup emails to relevant stakeholders.
• Process direct deposit updates and changes for employees.
• Generate and distribute iReports as needed for payroll and management reporting.
• Review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness; send timesheet-related emails to staff and managers.
• Use AI tools to complete weekly timesheet audits.
• Oversee the timesheet approval process from in-progress to approved; post all approved timesheets.
