Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a leading behavioral health crisis care provider seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to manage multi-state payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce and ensure compliance with tax laws. This remote role supports finance operations across several states and partners with HR and FP&A to optimize payroll configurations.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of payroll experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees bi-weekly.
• Ensure hours submitted and approved timely; resolve discrepancies with employees/managers.
• Set up garnishment and tax levy calculations; process off-cycle payrolls as needed.
• Maintain payroll procedures and assist with Accounts Payable as needed.
