Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage timely payroll processing and related tax reporting for a multi-state workforce. The role also supports accounts payable tasks and maintains payroll procedures with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

You will handle bi-weekly Ceridian/Dayforce payroll, ensure hours are correct, update 401k data, and assist with annual reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting knowledge.
• Experience handling garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Proficiency with Excel and analytical reporting; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees bi-weekly using Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure accurate hours and timely approvals.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and loans in payroll system.
• Handle garnishment calculations and related paperwork; year-end W2/401K tasks.
• Support tax compliance, payroll audits, and other accounting duties as needed.
• Collaborate with HR, FP&A, and external partners to optimize payroll config.
