Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a fully remote Payroll Accountant to manage company‑wide payroll processing using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non‑exempt employees on a bi‑weekly basis. You will collaborate with managers to ensure accurate hours, update 401k deferrals and tax withholdings, and maintain consistent payroll procedures.

Responsibilities include garnishments and levies, year‑end reporting, audits, and close partnership with HR and FP&A to optimize payroll configurations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Previous experience with all types of garnishments, levies, liens, support orders, and subpoenas

Responsibilities

• Process payroll processing using the Ceridian/Dayforce platform on a bi-weekly basis.
• Work with managers to ensure employee hours are submitted accurately and approved on time.
• Update employee records related to 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in the payroll system.
• Verify and process 401k payroll data to ensure timely submissions.
• Set up correct garnishment and tax levy calculations as required.
• Process off-cycle payrolls as needed
• Ensure compliance with payroll taxes and year-end reporting
• Assist with successful audits related to payroll and accounting inquiries
• Maintain confidentiality of all employee and financial information
• Provide AP support as needed
