Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage payroll for employees across multiple states using Ceridian/Dayforce. You will ensure accurate hours, deferrals, tax withholdings, garnishments, and year-end reporting while supporting accounts payable as needed.

The role is fully remote across the United States, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and confidential handling of payroll data. A Bachelor’s in accounting and 2-3 years of payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate payroll processing using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees bi-weekly.
• Ensure hours, deferrals, and 401k matches are correctly recorded and reported.
• Set up Garnishments and tax levies; process year-end W2 and 401K census.
• Collaborate with HR, FP&A, and third parties to optimize payroll configurations.
• Maintain SOPs for payroll and accounting procedures and provide audit support.
