Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage bi-weekly payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt staff, using Ceridian/Dayforce. The role covers multi-state payroll, 401(k) deferrals, employer match, and tax compliance in a fully remote setup across designated US states.

The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with HR and finance to ensure timely payroll and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus (great to have).

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Ensure hours are submitted and approved timely; resolve discrepancies.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in the payroll system.
• Verify and process 401k payroll data for timely submissions; year-end reporting.
• Process year-end reports and assist with audits related to payroll and accounting.
