Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a remote Payroll Accountant to manage payroll processing for multiple states using Ceridian Dayforce. You will ensure tax compliance, update deferrals and 401k details, and support the Accounts Payable function as needed.

Collaborate with HR and finance, maintain confidential records, and participate in audits. This role offers comprehensive benefits and room for growth within a physician-led, national behavioral health provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field or equivalent education.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong payroll tax compliance, reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll bi-weekly using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure accurate hours submission and resolve discrepancies with managers.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in the system.
• Set up garnishments and tax levies; complete required paperwork.
• Support Accounts Payable with vendor invoices and reconciliations.
• Maintain SOPs and assist with audits and reporting.
