Connections Health Solutions is a national behavioral health crisis care provider seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage bi-weekly payroll via Ceridian/Dayforce for employees across multiple states. You’ll ensure accurate tax withholdings, benefits deferrals, and compliance while supporting Accounts Payable tasks as needed.

The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring 2-3 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and meticulous, confidential handling of payroll data.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with garnishments, levies, liens, support orders, and subpoenas.
• Familiarity with benefits rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Must meet the company vaccination policy and related requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit accurate payroll processing using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees on a bi-weekly basis.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure hours are submitted and approved timely.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in the payroll system.
• Verify and process 401k payroll data for timely submissions.
• Set up garnishments and tax levy calculations as required; handle related paperwork.
• Process off-cycle payrolls as needed and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage year-end reporting related to W-2 and 401K census.
• Generate payroll analytics and partner with HR, FP&A, and third parties to optimize configurations.
• Create and maintain payroll SOPs; assist during audits; answer payroll-related questions.
• Provide AP backup coverage and maintain confidentiality of payroll and financial data.
