Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payer reimbursement. The role involves analyzing contracts, resolving underpayments, and coordinating with Revenue Integrity and CDM teams to implement fee schedule corrections. Strong CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 knowledge is essential.

Travel to off-site locations may be required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hospital financial operations and Epic proficiency, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality paramount.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years' healthcare experience in hospital financial operations including reimbursement, coding, and charge master management.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding and Medicare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve Epic WQ encounters.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for price/contract discrepancies.
• Lead rebill projects focusing on underpayment recoupment.
• Research non-covered/denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Prepare monthly measurement reports using Epic reports and present findings to leadership.
