Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payers. The role reports to the Director of Revenue Integrity and involves resolving underpayments, coding and charge master issues, and coordinating corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hospital finance, CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10 knowledge, and experience with Epic. Remote work is available for select states with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years in health care financial operations.
• Epic Contracts Module certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve escalations in Epic WQs.
• Investigate price/contract discrepancies and implement fee schedule corrections.
• Lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments and improve revenue integrity.
• Research non-covered/denied charges to identify root causes and assist with appeals.
• Prepare monthly measurement reports using Epic reports with recommended actions.
