Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payment from payors, under supervision of the Director of Revenue Integrity. You will analyze underpayments, resolve discrepancies, and support rebill initiatives to optimize revenue.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in hospital financial operations, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 expertise, and Epic proficiency to drive corrective actions and ensure compliant, timely reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum five years in health care with hospital financial operations experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 and Medicare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily Epic WQ holds.
• Identify root causes of price/contract discrepancies and fix fee schedules.
• Work on rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Act as SME on payer reimbursements and contracts; implement changes as needed.
• Research non-covered or denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Monitor re-billing accounts and educate staff to ensure proper payment.
• Prepare monthly measurement reports using Epic, with recommended actions.
