Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payors and manage line-level validation in Epic where needed. You will work under the Director of Revenue Integrity and focus on identifying root causes of underpayments and coding discrepancies.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of healthcare finance experience, including CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge and experience with Epic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field.
• Minimum five years in healthcare finance, hospital reimbursement, or charge master operations.
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10 coding and payer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters in Epic WQs.
• Identify root causes for price/contract discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Research non-covered/denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Prepare monthly performance reports using Epic reports for leadership review.
