Job summary

Mosaic Life Care seeks a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payors and validate line-item payments in Epic where needed, reporting to the Director of Revenue Integrity. You will analyze underpayments, price/contract discrepancies, and rebill projects to optimize reimbursement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of healthcare finance experience, with strong CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge, confidentiality, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in healthcare or related field.
• H.S. Diploma required.
• 5 years healthcare experience in hospital finance operations.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding and Medicare reimbursement.
• Experience with Epic WQs and revenue integrity processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters in Epic WQs.
• Identify root causes of price/contract discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Work on rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Research non-covered or denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Create monthly measurement reports using Epic reports and record actions taken.
