Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist for a fully remote role across designated U.S. states. You will ensure deposit receipts, posting accuracy, and timely reconciliation, with a focus on accuracy and customer service. Experience with medical billing and payer rules is essential.

The role supports month-end processes and requires proficient use of Excel, Google apps, and Raintree Systems software. Remote work offers flexibility while maintaining strong compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contract & government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Experience with payment posting and A/R follow up.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain logs for reconciliation and posting.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding deposits with payers.
• Identify posting errors and follow up for resolution.
• Participate in month end closing and reconciliations.
• Retrieve remittances from payor websites as needed.
• Assist clients with inquiries and information; support payments team.
