Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist for a fully remote role in the U.S. (designated states). The position focuses on deposits reconciliation, posting accuracy, and timely follow-ups with payers, supported by a strong knowledge of medical billing and A/R practices.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in medical insurance posting, familiarity with payer contracts and government rules, and comfort with Microsoft Office, Google apps, and Raintree Systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contract & government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Skilled in using computer applications for payment posting with an understanding of A/R follow up.
• Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies.
• Experience with medical billing software (Raintree Systems experience a plus).
• Experience in performing tasks that require a basic understanding of accounting and math skills.
• Proactive curiosity and basic AI fluency to identify efficiency gains and streamline daily workflows.

Responsabilités

• Update and maintain reconciliation logs and spreadsheets; review and reconcile deposits.
• Investigate, research, and resolve outstanding deposits with clients and payers.
• Identify and research posting errors and follow ups.
• Participate in month end closing.
• Retrieve and post remittances from payor websites as needed.
• Research unidentified payments and determine the appropriate resolution.
• Identify patterns and trends indicating issues and notify leads or supervisors.
• Assist clients by answering inquiries and providing information.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits to the billing system and bank.
• Handle special projects and assignments as needed.
