Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist for a fully remote role across designated U.S. states. The role focuses on ensuring deposits, posting accuracy, and timely reconciliations within a fast-paced healthcare billing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of medical insurance posting experience, knowledge of payer contracts and government reimbursement rules, and strong Microsoft Office and Google applications skills. Experience with Raintree Systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contract and government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain logs and spreadsheets used for reconciliation.
• Investigate, research, and resolve outstanding deposits with payers or clients.
• Identify posting errors and follow up to clear them.
• Participate in month-end closing.
• Retrieve and post remittances from payor websites when needed.
