Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payors under the Director of Revenue Integrity. You will analyze underpayments, resolve discrepancies in Epic WQs, and support rebill projects to recoup underpayments.

The role requires 5 years in healthcare finance, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 knowledge, and Epic experience. Travel to off-site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years healthcare experience in hospital financial operations.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and reimbursement.
• Experience with charge master development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and identify root causes.
• Resolve price/contract discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Lead rebill projects for underpayment recoupment.
• Research denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Prepare monthly measurements and recommendations using Epic.
• Create and maintain contracts in Epic.
• Assist startup for new programs to identify reimbursable services.
• Coordinate routine projects with planned steps.
• Educate staff to resolve coding and billing issues.
