Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payors and to oversee line-level validation in Epic WQ where applicable. The role supports the Director of Revenue Integrity in maintaining clean, compliant revenue cycles across hospital operations.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of healthcare financial operations experience, familiar with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, and is capable of identifying root causes to reduce underpayments and denials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• H.S. Diploma is required.
• 5 years of health care experience including hospital financial operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and identify root causes for corrective action.
• Resolve encounters in Epic WQ for price/contract discrepancies and work with teammates on fee schedule corrections.
• Participate in rebill projects to recoup underpayments and improve payment accuracy.
• Be informed of payer reimbursement changes and implement updates as needed.
• Research non-covered or denied charges to identify root causes and assist with appeals.
