Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payer reimbursement and to support revenue integrity efforts. You will analyze underpayments, resolve Epic WQ holds, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly setting.

Responsibilities include researching CPT/HCPCS coding issues, coordinating with Revenue Integrity to optimize reimbursements, and contributing to monthly performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Five years in hospital financial operations including reimbursement, coding, and charge master maintenance.
• Epic Contracts Module Certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters holding in Epic WQs.
• Investigate price/contract discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with CDM/Revenue Integrity teams.
• Lead rebill projects focused on recoupment of underpayments and potential denials.
• Research non-covered or denied charges and assist with appeals with Revenue Integrity Manager.
